[1] Instant Pot 7-in-1. Posted here before, I use it mostly as a rice cooker, pressure cooker, and the saute to pressure cooker option. You can easily look up recipes for almost everything. to pamper / parched skin weapon #1 – the humidifier

My skin has been feeling super dry between the trip to LA and Vegas, an overheated office, and winter in general. While drinking water and applying copious amounts of non-alcoholic toners, serums, lotions, and cream helps, don’t forget the trusty humidifier! It may also help prevent sickness (knock on wood). I’ve got these two:

  • The Broksonic Hybrid Ultrasonic Humidifier and Diffuser (left) is super sleek, but has a smaller tank (60 ounces) and does beep when it’s turning on or off. I don’t mind either – the more often you clean it, the less gunk accumulates. It is also a diffuser. I haven’t used that function yet. Amazon sells this through a third party or Casa (home store owned by Amazon) for $149.99. Gilt has it for $99.99 (which is where I got it with an additional % off coupon).
  • The Crane Drop Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier (right) is super popular on Amazon. It’s “only” $44.99 (at press time) and its tank is twice the size of the Broksonic. I’ve had this one for a while and it is a champ. Although, it’s a pain to clean since you’re unlikely to be refilling and cleaning it on a daily basis.
