The SMITH store in Narita airport (T1) was the start of my Delfonics experience where I got a red cardholder (similar here). (I promise to post a review soon.) I went to Madewell to make a return and was very happy to see that they’ve restocked their Delfonics pouch collection. Especially this gingham one that I thought was discontinued.

I’m tempted to go through a third party shopping service in Japan to shop for me because it’s hard to find the same Quitterie selection and prices in the US. If you’re easy to please, you can find Delfonics in the US at Madewell, Urban Outfitters, and Amazon.

A coworker had a new black and white scarf on during a staff meeting, which I admired from afar. I immediately knew it was Madewell and that it was going on my wishlist! The Cityguide Scarf reminds me of my Tokyo storyteller scarf, but set in NYC with food highlights and longer length. I don’t need much convincing with ‘taco taco taco’ and ‘yum ramen’.

I didn’t expect to find Canvas (the home store) items at Madewell, but then, J.Crew and Madewell have been beefing up their home sections. I came across their Dauville collection last year – it’s delightful for those who fancy gold or silver! I have a small bowl and pebble dish which I use to hold baubles or lip products on the bathroom counter.

Madewell has three items on sale: the gold bud vase, gold small pebble dish, and silver medium pebble dish. All are under $16 and ship free with code SALEONSALE through Monday night. You can find more Dauville at Bloomies (which is also running a promotion).
